Superior Van & Mobility provides repair and installation services for wheelchair-accessible vehicles, wheelchair lifts, scooter lifts, and adaptive driving aids and equipment. Plus, all of our technicians are factory trained and certified.
We are an authorized BraunAbility® and VMI repair facility. However, we also perform warranty work and repair on other makes and models of handicap-accessible vehicles, lifts, and adaptive driving aids.
In addition, our technicians have ADA certifications to service commercial wheelchair vans, handicap buses, paratransit vehicles, commercial wheelchair lifts, and more.
Unlike other mobility dealers, most Superior Van & Mobility locations now provide additional general maintenance services for one-stop servicing & repair. These services include oil & filter changes, filter replacements, bulb replacements, wiper replacements, and more.

Like many, you have probably had your oil changed recently and the tires checked, but when was the last time you had your adaptive equipment serviced on your wheelchair van or handicap-accessible vehicle? While the safe operation of your mobility vehicle is essential, so is the reliability and safe operation of your wheelchair conversion or installed equipment. Many of these components are often overlooked as needing routine maintenance until it’s too late.
You must have your wheelchair lift, scooter carrier, wheelchair-accessible vehicle, or any other adaptive driving equipment serviced every six months by a qualified mobility technician. To keep many manufacturer warranties intact, most require servicing and inspection at predetermined intervals.
Like anything mechanical in nature, routine inspections for damage, alignment, and proper operation are necessary. These electrical components are critical, as wires can quickly become frayed from improper alignment, wear & tear, or maintenance neglect.
Give us a call if you cannot find your warranty information that lists any predetermined service schedules for your adaptive equipment. Our mobility consultants can look up the information for you and help determine any specific warranty requirements for your vehicle or equipment.
Are you aware your BraunAbility or VMI wheelchair-accessible vehicle is equipped with an emergency back-up power system? If you are out and experience a power failure resulting from a dead battery, rest assured you have a means to exit your vehicle. The backup power system is designed to operate your vehicle’s door and ramp system.
To learn how to access this emergency power back-up, please review the appropriate video below.
