Toyota Rampvan XT utilizes a full-power fold-out ramp allowing for ease of use by the wheelchair user and their passengers. At a simple push of the Toyota key-fob, the power door opens, the ramp deploys, and the auto kneeling system engages to lower the rear suspension of the vehicle further reducing the ramp angle. (This version of BraunAbility® Toyota XT conversion ended in 2019 when BraunAbility® re-engineered this conversion offering into their larger XL conversion, but is still found on many used wheelchair vans for sale).
The Toyota Rampvan XT has a lowered floor of 13 inches, which is more than a standard converted minivan. This additional lowering of the floor creates a door opening height of 56.5 inches which allows for taller wheelchair users to fit comfortably inside the cabin and navigate the doorway and ramp.
For wheelchair users who prefer to ride up front or drive from their wheelchair, the BraunAbility® Toyota Rampvan XT has easy to use step-and-roll removable driver and passenger seating.
