Power Fold-Out conversion from BraunAbility® (formally Entervan II conversion) wears the badge of being the first wheelchair accessible conversion ever engineered! This wheelchair van conversion has stood the test of time!

Easily operated for most users at a simple push of a button, the power door and ramp activate and deploy seamlessly. While the ramp deploys and door opens, the kneeling system works to pull-down the rear side of the vehicle to lower the ramp angle for easier entry and exit. This entire process is fully automated!

Once inside, users have the option to remove the front driver and passenger seats to allow wheelchair users to either ride up-front or drive from their wheelchair. The vehicles spacious interior can easily accommodate more than one wheelchair and provides easy maneuverability about the cabin.

Gone are the days of having multiple, large key-fobs/remotes to keep track of to operate your wheelchair conversion and vehicle. Everything today on the Power Fold-Out wheelchair van conversion is done from the factory remote or through the use of interior switches found throughout the vehicles cabin.

FOLD-OUT RAMP on the BraunAbility® Power Fold-Out conversion is durable and non-slip thanks to its powder coated finish; it also has an 800 to 1000-pound capacity (depending on when conversion took place).

This one-touch operation on the Power Fold-Out conversion is possible through a sophisticated software that BraunAbility® developed which is housed in the Gateway Module. This technology can now be found in every newer converted BraunAbility® Power Fold-Out. The Gateway Module is so sophisticated that it even uses the factory wiring system, something other conversion companies are unable to accomplish. This integration eliminates cut and spliced wires, which as anyone knows, can become failure points thus causing conversion operation issues/failures.

AUTO-KNEELING SYSTEM - To ensure easy entry and exit of your vehicle from BraunAbility®, the van is integrated with a kneeling system. This system is controlled by an actuator on the right rear side of the vehicle. When activated, the actuator engages to temporarily lower the rear suspension to reduce the ramp angle, making the entry and exit of the vehicle by a wheelchair user easier to manage.

LOWERED FLOOR - During the conversion process, the BraunAbility® Power Fold-Out’s floor is lowered 10 inches from the level of the conventional minivan floor. This lowering takes place just in-front of the rear axle all the way up to the front firewall of the vehicle. Once completed, the conversion process provides 52.5 inches of door opening height and 56.5 inches of interior height in both the driver and passenger areas.
