This new conversion from BraunAbility® is effortless to operate, and its unparalleled size makes it easy for all to maneuver about the cabin. As with most models from BraunAbility®, the front seats are also removable to allow wheelchair users to ride up-front in the passenger position or drive directly from their wheelchair. The Chrysler Voyager wheelchair van features an integrated power, fold-out wheelchair ramp system and power side doors. The deploy & stow features of the ramp are operated directly from the factory key fob or any of the interior switches found throughout the interior.
In case of a power failure, the Voyager Fold-out features an integrated backup system to ensure the ramp can be operated for a safe vehicle exit.
Regarding the ramp on the BraunAbility® Power Fold-Out, Chrysler Voyager handicap-accessible van, it’s good to know that you’re getting the widest of all its competitors! The wider ramp, with its 1000 lbs. load capacity, allows the Chrysler Voyager mobility van to accommodate most wheelchair types.

Standard wheelchair van conversions can seat up to five ambulatory passengers with one wheelchair user. However, by adding a second-row, flip & fold jump-seat from BraunAbility®, you can seat up to six ambulatory passengers with one wheelchair user.
This option is excellent for those traveling with a dedicated caregiver who must remain near the wheelchair user.
The Power Fold-Out, Chrysler Voyager accessible van conversion features a standard-cut, lowered floor. The floor during the conversion process is lowered 10 inches from factory height. The lowering of the floor takes place from the firewall to the rear axle.
The lowering of the floor is important for two reasons. First, it allows easier entry and exit for the wheelchair user by creating additional door entry height and interior headroom. Second, it provides a wheelchair user with a direct line of sight while driving or riding as a passenger. (For a more significant door opening height, see the Power Fold-Out XT model)
