Services We Perform
Superior Van and Mobility provides wheelchair accessible, ADA conversion maintenance and service for all makes and models of commercial wheelchair accessible vehicles and corresponding mobility equipment. We are an authorized BraunAbility, VMI, and Driverge dealer and perform service and warranty work on all the vehicles products we sell, even on some we don’t.
Note: Chassis specific issues related to the manufacture of the chassis must be performed by the chassis dealer network. We only service the components related to the conversion process and the mobility equipment installed.
Is It Time To Service Your Commercial Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle?
If you are like many, you might have had your vehicles oil changed recently and maybe checked the tires, but when was the last time you had your ADA wheelchair accessible conversion and/or accessible equipment serviced? While the safe operation and routine chassis maintenance of your fleet vehicles is obviously important, so is the reliability and safe operation of your mobility conversion and equipment. Too often these are the components that get overlooked for routine maintenance until it’s too late.
Like anything mechanical in nature, routine inspections for damage, alignment and proper operation are necessary. Electrical components are even more important, as wires can easily become frayed from improper alignment, improper use, normal wear and tear, and/or routine maintenance neglect.
It is recommended that you have your fleets ADA wheelchair lift/ramp and conversion serviced every six months by a qualified mobility technician. In fact, to keep many of the manufacture warranties intact there are some schedules that must be addressed at routine intervals. If you are unsure of your fleet’s maintenance requirements, contact our commercial sales team. A team member will be happy to assist you in ensuring your vehicle remains operational, safe and ADA compliant.
