Q. What should I do if I have a problem with my equipment when Superior Van & Mobility is closed?
A. Superior Van & Mobility has 24-hour emergency service available. Call the following numbers for the location nearest you. Louisville: (502) 447-8267; Lexington: (859) 253-1832; Indianapolis: (317) 781-6900; Fort Wayne: (260) 497-8267; South Bend: (574) 271-1175, Evansville: (812) 402-8267. When calling these numbers, you will reach a recording directing you to the cell phone number of the current on-call technician who will assist you in any way they can. There may be a fee for on-site, after-hours emergency service.
Q. I am not able to bring my vehicle in for service during normal business hours. What options are available to me?
A. 1. All Superior Van & Mobility locations have an after hours key-drop. 2. Superior Van & Mobility personnel can pick up and/or deliver your vehicle during normal business hours for an additional charge. 3. Saturday hours are available by Appointment Only.
Q. I purchased my equipment from another dealer. Do you perform warranty service on equipment that was not purchased from one of the Superior Van & Mobility locations?
A. Yes. Superior Van & Mobility will complete manufacturer's covered warranty repairs on nearly all adaptive equipment. We sell and service products manufactured by Braun, Vantage, Viewpoint by Vision, VMI/Ricon, Bruno, EMC, EZ-Lock, and many more. The rare exceptions are manufacturers who do not utilize a nationwide network of dealers.
Q. I have a 2005 Chrysler Town & Country with a Braun Entervan conversion. I am an experiencing problem with my power slide doors, what should I do?
A. Contact your local Dodge or Chrysler dealer. The power door equipment is a Chrysler factory system that is covered under Chrysler's 36-month/36,000 mile warranty. In the event your local dealership is not familiar with vehicles equipped with adaptive equipment, Superior Van & Mobility is available to guide your local dealership personnel.
Q. Is a full-size van or mini-van best for me?
A. Both vehicles offer plenty of headroom and interior space. The mini-vans have proven to be very popular with consumers. We offer a complete in-house demonstration of both to best determine your needs. Your overall height may be one of the determining factors for your decision.
Q. Which Hand Controls are best for me?
A. We recommend that you see a certified driver training evaluator to determine what works best for you. Your evaluator will prescribe the proper set of hand controls and provide you with driver training. We will then work directly with your evaluator insure that you have the hand controls installed that have been specifically prescribed for you.
Q. Can we get financing for a vehicle purchase?
A. We offer financing on new and used vehicles with terms up to ten years. Please see our Financing Tab on our Website Menu Bar.
Q. Do you work with agencies that provide funding for adaptive equipment?
A. Yes. We work with all funding agencies, including the following: Veterans Administration, Department of Vocational Rehabilitation, Workers Compensation, MS Society, Medicaid Waiver (Indiana), Easter Seals and others.
