Paul has worked for Superior Van & Mobility since 1998 and presently works directly with therapists, case managers, automobile dealers and individuals with disabilities by educating them on the products and features of today's mobility environment. However, this isn't Paul's first experience with the mobility industry. Paul actually got his start in 1984 working as a rehabilitation products consultant, which made sense with Paul's situation. In 1980 Paul was involved in a life changing experience a freak automobile accident the week before college graduation while out on a double date that left Paul paralyzed from the chest down. Despite being told by doctors he would never walk again, Paul didn't let that stop him from achieving great things. In fact Paul has not let much hold him back. While at Superior, Paul has helped give back by helping others. Knowing the importance of independence, Paul has really enjoyed the opportunity to help others faced with the same challenges he himself has experienced a gratifying experience to say the least. However, it's Paul's goal to always push himself, while helping others, that motivates him. A great example of this is Paul's major undertaking in 2013. Paul and two other individuals he met through networking decided to take on a huge challenge, and raise funds for the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation in the process. Together they came up with the idea for 50/50/50 or 50 marathons in 50 states in 50 weeks a year long mission that involved a vast amount of support and personal dedication. The challenge was a way to create awareness of spinal cord research, and at the same time help others with disabilities see through their challenges and focus on the clarity of living life to its fullest.
